For the ill or disabled people, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) is an initiative to help them financially if they are not able to work and extending personal help to make them work if they are able to. The amount of ESA depends on the users? financial position and the type of ESA they qualify for. There are three types of ESA, namely, new style, contributory and the income related ESA. The users can either get Contribution based ESA if they have paid enough National Insurance contributions or income related ESA if you are on zero or low income or even both ESAs depending upon the qualifying criterion.
